But little did their families know they were planning on a big commitment when they got here. The two kept their elopement completely secret from everybody they knew until the papers were signed. I’ve heard many couples say they wished they would just whisk away alone and avoid the stress of wedding planning, these were the first two who actually did it with complete privacy. At the end of the day I could not express how much respect I had for them to pull it off.
