We had the privilege of having Michael shoot our wedding last summer and were blown away by the photographs he took. Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with and through his unique artistic style and approach to photography, gave us some breathtaking photographs that I am confident we would not have been able to achieve with any other photographer. We loved that Michael provided just enough guidance to get the shots we needed, but mostly faded into the background so that our self-awareness of having our photo taken was never present. 

Trying to describe Michael’s photographic style is challenging because of how original it is—there is a candid and raw emotional side to his photography that brings the storytelling of his images to life. I find that too often wedding photographs look overly perfected, making them more about the overall image than the subjects. With Michael, he manages to masterfully incorporate the personalities of his subjects into the photographs, and I think that talent is truly something special. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Michael and I would without hesitation recommend him to anyone looking for photographs oozing with originality and timelessness.
